Abstract

Gamtala Village is a tourist village that has not been well developed. In modern life, shifts in culture and tradition are very likely to occur. Cultures that are not relevant to the age will slowly become extinct. A positive and developing culture in the community needs to be maintained. Sasadu is the traditional architecture of the sahu tribe that functions as a meeting room and the implementation of traditional rituals, besides that sasadu is a symbol and identity of the sahu tribe that unites the sahu tribe. With modern life and the development of this technology, Sasadu buildings began to experience the threat of extinction. To overcome the culture of the sahu tribe and the sasadu's continuous gaze, it needs to be made as a tour to introduce to the world and preserve culture. Methods The research method uses a descriptive qualitative approach with a SWOT analysis. The results showed that the role of community participation was very large in realizing cultural tourism in Gamtala Village.
