Abstract

The public transportation that serves the Kendari city area, Puuwatu Route - Mandonga  is Rural Public Transportation. Available with 38 fleets. The aim of this research is to determine the performance of rural public transport in the city of Kendari. The method for evaluating public transport performance is to conduct an analysis of public transport performance parameters. There are 9 parameters that will be researched, namely Round Trip Time, Vehicle Frequency and Frequency Variance, Load Factor, Time Headway, Number of Trips and Mileage per Vehicle per Day, Cycle Time, Number of Passengers per Vehicle per Day, Number of Vehicles, and Circulation Time. The values of these performance parameters are obtained through analysis of data obtained from dynamic and static surveys. The results of research on the Puuwatu - Mandonga Mall route show that this route is in the poor category.
